This flowering perennial known commonly as catnip, catmint, or catswort actually has the scientific name of Nepeta cataria. 

This remedy has been used for many generations.  It can calm restless sleep, relieves anxiety, soothes menstrual pain, helpful for the common cold, helps to eliminate eating disorders, eases stomach discomfort, reduces fever, detoxifies the body, anti-inflammatory and speeds wound healing.  

Safety Information:  Avoid if Liver or kidney disorders, avoid during pregnancy can prematurely induce labor.

Catnip tea can provided stress relief and reduce chronic anxiety.
